Receiving Lead
Job Summary:
Safely Unload and load tanker trucks per SOP procedures.
Will be trained to operate the yard dog to move tankers and box trailers around the plant.
Unload inbound raw material trucks using a forklift.
Receive goods and verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers.
Carefully and accurately maintain shipping records for requested categories including goods returned and returnable pallets.
Notify receiving lead or plant manager of major discrepancies or over-shipments.
Transport materials on receiving dock with a forklift.
Keep up to date on company safety training & policies.
General knowledge of inventory system and trained on inventory SOPs.
Requirements:
Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Must have perfect attendance
Prospective candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse, on the loading dock and inside and outside work.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Must maintain good housekeeping
