A progressive small animal practice is seeking a skilled
Lead Veterinarian
to provide medical leadership, mentor colleagues, and ensure high-quality care for patients. This role allows for professional growth in a collaborative environment while supporting the development of a strong, capable clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and collaborate with veterinary colleagues and support staff
Oversee patient care, including medical and surgical cases
Establish and maintain high clinical standards within the practice
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional development
Communicate effectively with clients and address medical questions or concerns
Partner with management to support operational and clinical goals
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)
Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state
Strong clinical, leadership, and mentoring abilities
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
