Applications developers oversee the entire life cycle of a software application, creating the design, coding it, and testing the product for functionality and errors, while ensuring that user needs, performance requirements, and security standards are met. As an entry-level individual contributor, an Applications Development Analyst is ready to apply the knowledge acquired via an advanced education and to start developing professional skills with guidance from a manager and more experienced team members. Responsibilities include: Supporting and assisting senior developers in developing codes, testing, and debugging software programs and enhancements to meet project goals. Working under guidance from senior software developers. Assisting with repairing coding problems. Providing technical support to internal clients on existing issues, escalating as necessary. Monitoring trends and results from technical support calls to advise senior team members on system performance. Required qualifications and skills: 5-10 years of experience in the Oracle EPM space. Knowledge of Oracle EPM suite, including: TRCS (administration, workflow/task manager, business rules, Data Management, Reporting, Smartview) FCCS (administration, workflow/task manager, business rules, Data Management, Reporting, Smartview) EPRCS Essbase technology Ability to collaborate with CIS functional teams and work with business stakeholders to design and build system and process improvements. Ability to support month/quarter/year-end close processes. Ability to work in the NYC office.
