Job Schedule:
M-F 40-hours/week
Project & Requirements
(Required) Under direct supervision, the Scanner Clerk will follow established processes and procedures for the Enterprise Scanning capability. Contract support is required through
EOY 2025
to support the following scheduled projects: Jail Cards Fire Marshal's Office - Arson Investigations Auditor's Office - Retiree Payroll Public Library - Human Resources Public Health Services - Epidemiology Role & Responsibilities
(Required)
Prepare physical boxes for scanning Perform per-page quality checks on scanned images Index each page for searchability within OpenText Publish indexed pages into the OpenText system Scheduled Milestones & Deliverables
(Required)
Jail Cards: Each phase divided by year of Jail Card creation Each year requires approx.
2 months
to complete with a full team Deliverable: Usable digital Jail Cards in OpenText Fire Marshal's Office - Arson Investigations: Digitize all Arson Investigation records Permanent retention required Auditor's Office - Retiree Payroll: Digitize active Retiree Payroll files Large-scale project, potentially in multiple phases Public Library - HR: Digitize all active and inactive HR files Public Health Services - Epidemiology: Digitize all permanently retained epidemiology records Performance Metrics
(Required) Daily individual metrics will be tracked, including the number of pages processed per task. Performance will be measured against:
Established production standards based on industry best practices Internal six-month rolling averages for each task Requirements
Required Skills, Education, and Qualifications:
Document Imaging Experience:
Knowledge of document management systems, digital imaging, and scanning processes. Computer Skills:
Proficiency in operating computer hardware and software used for scanning and imaging. Attention to Detail:
Accuracy and thoroughness in handling and processing documents. Organizational Skills:
Ability to maintain organized records and manage multiple tasks. Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. Education:
High school diploma or GED. Experience:
This role requires experience in Customer Service or Document Management.
