nResponsibilities
nDuties are as follows:
nDesign and develop user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
nCreate visually appealing graphics, icons, and other design elements to support various projects.
nConduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
nCollaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with project requirements and user needs.
nDevelop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and functionality.
nEnsure designs are consistent with branding guidelines and industry best practices.
nStay current with trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design and graphic design.
nProvide feedback and guidance to other team members on design-related matters.
nMaintain and update design documentation, including style guides and design specifications.
nAssist with other design-related tasks and special projects as needed.
nQualifications & Physical Requirements
nExpected Qualifications
nBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related acquisition experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.
nActive Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
nExperience as a UX/UI designer or graphic designer, preferably in a technical or defense-related environment.
nProficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
nUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ability to work closely with developers.
nDesired Qualifications
nExperience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
nKnowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
nExperience in designing for government or defense-related projects.
nExcellent organizational and time management skills.
