$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Job description: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health (Part-Time) Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX Reports To: Licensed Physical Therapist Compensation: $55-65/visit with performance-based bonus incentives About Us Debtag Home Health Services is a patient-centered home health agency dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps patients achieve their highest level of independence and function at home. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. Position Summary The PTA will provide rehabilitative care to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with the established plan of care, agency policies, and state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions as delegated by the supervising PT, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility. Reinforce education provided by the PT on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention. Observe and document patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition, promptly reporting them to the supervising PT. Participate in interdisciplinary coordination to support the overall plan of care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation for all visits. Uphold infection control, safety, and ethical standards consistent with home health regulations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Texas PTA license in good standing. Minimum of
one year of experience
in home health, skilled nursing facility, or related rehab setting preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with supervisory requirements.
