Position Summary:


ComForCare Home Care Lansdale is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate Office Assistant to support daily office operations and client care coordination. The ideal candidate will assist with caregiver scheduling, hiring, client communications, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth agency operations and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:


Client & Caregiver Coordination


  • Manage caregiver scheduling to ensure all client shifts are covered in accordance with their care plans.

  • Communicate schedule changes promptly to clients, caregivers, and staff.

  • Conduct regular follow-up calls and occasional in-person visits to clients to monitor satisfaction and quality of care.

  • Support the onboarding process for new caregivers, ensuring documentation and training compliance.

  • Assist in maintaining caregiver availability records and tracking attendance, call-offs, and replacements.

Administrative Support


  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to clients, families, and referral sources.

  • Maintain accurate records in the scheduling and client management software.

  • Prepare weekly schedules, timesheets, and reports for payroll and billing.

  • Support compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and quality assurance standards.

  • Assist with client assessments, care plan updates, and other office projects as needed.

Team Collaboration


  • Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure efficient daily operations.

  • Provide backup coverage for scheduling or client communications during staff absences.

  • Participate in team meetings, staff training sessions, and community outreach activities as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in a home care, healthcare, or senior service setting preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficient with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Schedule:


Prefer Full-time (MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM) but open part time with a right candidate.
Occasional after-hours or weekend availability may be required for scheduling needs.
