About the Role
As a Partner Recruiting Specialist, you’ll be a key member of our Attorney Talent Group, supporting the full lifecycle of lateral partner and of counsel recruiting—from initial outreach through onboarding and early integration. Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for lateral partner and of counsel candidates, search firms, and internal stakeholders throughout the recruiting process.
Partner with the Senior Manager of Partner Recruiting to execute strategic hiring plans and support the firm’s recruiting and strategic growth goals.
Identify potential candidates, review application materials, and manage diligence processes including background checks, conflicts, and lateral partner questionnaires.
Coordinate all aspects of interviews, from scheduling and logistics to gathering and distributing feedback.
Manage offer and acceptance pipelines, prepare new hire paperwork, and ensure all necessary departments are informed for smooth arrivals.
Design and execute tailored onboarding and orientation schedules, overseeing the first 30 days to ensure meaningful integration into the firm.
Maintain applicant and onboarding data in the ATS, generate reports, and contribute process improvement ideas.
Collaborate with business development, firm leadership, and practice groups to align lateral partner recruiting priorities and new hire onboarding with the firm’s strategic priorities.
Assist with special projects and initiatives that enhance the lateral partner recruiting function and candidate experience.
About You
Bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years of legal recruiting experience, ideally with a focus on lateral partner hiring, attorney integration, or complex project coordination.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with attorneys, staff, search firms, and vendors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with applicant tracking systems (Taleo, iCIMS).
A reputation for reliability, accountability, and delivering results in a collaborative team setting.
