Job Description (Selection Process):
Customer orders are fulfilled by selecting cases and other containers of food and non-food products. These items are picked from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems and placed on pallets. Completed orders are then moved to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack or forklift, where they are wrapped, labeled, and prepared for shipment in a timely manner.
All safety regulations must be followed to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining an efficient product flow through the production process. The employee must function effectively as a team member within the department and the organization. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to best serve company operations.
This position requires working in both cooler and freezer environments. Candidates must have
at least one year of experience
as an Order Selector operating both an
electric pallet jack and a forklift
with at least one previous employer.
Pay Rate:

Job Duties: Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or actions immediately. Review work schedule, obtain required supplies, and prepare for operations. Perform a safety inspection on the pallet jack or forklift before use, ensuring all safety devices function properly. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear. Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per company and location guidelines. Place pallets on pallet jack, operate along assigned multi-level racks, and locate products according to order sheets. Manually load appropriate stock items onto pallets from pick slots and racks as required. Use single or double pallets as directed. Transport completed palletized customer orders to the shipping dock staging area; may be required to shrink-wrap pallets for staging. Replace or recharge equipment batteries as needed and complete vehicle inspection checklists. At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork. Perform other related duties as assigned.
