Team Description As an Executive Assistant within the Enterprise Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our innovative and world-class leaders. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our corporate functions, enabling strategic and visionary efforts that keep The Walt Disney Company at the forefront of the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate is skilled, proficient, independent, and able to manage workload with minimal supervision. You will coordinate confidential and complex administrative tasks, provide high-level service and support in close partnership with the direct leader’s team.
Responsibilities of Role Provide high-level administrative support to a Vice President and Director, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Manage complex calendars with the ability to coordinate ever-changing and last-minute urgent meetings among executive teams operating across multiple time zones.
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Organize and maintain files and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
Utilize problem‑solving skills to address and resolve administrative issues independently.
Mentor and provide informal guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Assist when CIDO is in the NY Office as needed.
Screen and prioritize incoming meeting requests, email, and calls.
Assist with general department tasks, including conference room requests, ordering supplies, coordinating general maintenance and upgrades for office equipment, mobile test phones, computers, kitchen duties, etc.
Provide office support such as supporting location-based events, completing expense reports, tracking organizational deadlines, handling IT and office services related matters, and serving as a point of contact for the team.
Own the welcoming and onboarding of new employees, obtaining resources, ensuring a smooth start.
Plan and coordinate extensive travel, including international locations, visas, and passport updates.
Must Haves Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Effective problem‑solving skills
Skilled in handling confidential information with discretion
Ability to work across diverse teams with high quality and professionalism
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop rapport with fellow executive assistants and Chiefs of Staff
Self‑starter in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Resourceful and comfortable navigating the unknown
Leveraged sound judgment on behalf of the executive
Proactive, resourceful, flexible, and responsible
Nice to Haves Experience in a corporate environment, preferably within the entertainment industry
Familiarity with project management tools and software
Experience supporting senior executives or high‑level management
Experience with MS Copilot is a plus
Knowledge of Disney rules and regulations as put forth in the T&E policy and Employee Handbook
Education Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Additional certifications in office administration or related fields are a plus
Compensation The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $68,400 to $91,700 per year based on a 40‑hour work week. Base pay and additional incentive compensation may vary based on internal equity, geographic region, and candidate qualifications. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with full medical, financial and other benefits.
