Base pay range $80,000.00/hr – $95,000.00/hr

Opportunity The Cybersecurity & IT Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding Kipsu’s digital infrastructure and supporting secure, efficient technology operations. This position is responsible for monitoring and responding to security threats, managing identity and access controls, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and implementing best practices for data protection across cloud and on‑premise environments. In addition, the analyst provides day‑to‑day IT support, manages endpoint devices, and ensures the reliability of core systems and networks that enable Kipsu’s frontline customer experience platform to operate seamlessly. The role combines proactive security oversight with hands‑on technical support, helping to maintain a resilient and trusted technology ecosystem for employees and customers alike.
What You’ll Do Manage Support and maintain organizational desktop computer systems, hardware, network, and user access
Provide end‑user support; track, document and create SOPs for troubleshooting
Manage regular penetration testing and vulnerability scanning processes, coordinate related remediation efforts
Facilitate quarterly security reviews and communicate findings to management
Contribute to software test script reviews for data leakage
Ensure that project/department information security milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets
Recommend, implement, configure and integrate new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and security
Conduct periodic policy/process assessment and update or create new processes
Design and facilitate internal training and exercises (tabletop exercises) to help strengthen a strong security environment and culture
Coordinate responses to information security incidents
Complete security questionnaires for current and prospective clients
Design and maintain a data disclosure database based on client agreements
Strategy Align company policies to SOC 2, ISO 27000 series, and HIPAA security frameworks
Identify information security risks to the business and recommend strategies to address those risks
Champion privacy and security initiatives
Benchmark security program against organizations of similar size and industry
Compliance and Risk Management Coordinate regular internal and third‑party compliance audits
Participate in commercial insurance renewals related to cybersecurity
Manage inventory of IT assets, technology partner agreements and customer data processing addendum requirements
What We’re Looking For A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field of equivalent experience (3‑5 years)
A strong enthusiasm for staying up to date with all things cybersecurity and maintaining an awareness of new advances, threats, and other trends in the space
A boldness in not being afraid to get their hands dirty and collaborate heavily with our software engineers on technical topics related to security
Experience and knowledge related to the configuration and maintenance of security monitoring and reporting platforms
Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Experience with SSO (Okta)
Experience with MDMs (Jamf Pro)
Experience with Atlassian Products (JSM, Confluence, Jira)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer savvy – know your way our Google Workspace
Strong attention to detail in daily work and other projects
Phenomenal organizational abilities
Demonstrated experience working independently as well as in a team environment
A bias for action to jump on whatever needs to get done and a consistent track record in hitting deadlines
Additional experience, training, or certification related to information technology security policy or compliance are strongly preferred
A critical thinker that can solve for issues that best align with the organization’s vision with the available tools provided
