The Business Office Assistant is responsible for providing appropriate office support necessary for an effective, smooth-running operation using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of this facility.

The Business Office Assistant is responsible for providing appropriate office support necessary for an effective, smooth-running operation using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of this facility.
Responsibilities
- Performs all duties of Accounts Payable Clerk. Should be knowledgeable in accounts receivable and Resident Trust.
- Insurance (Medicare, private insurances, Medicaid, etc.) billing and verification of benefits & coverage as well.
- Meet and greet with residents and/or families for completion of the admission packets.
- Collections
- High school graduate or its equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Previous business office experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Collections experience is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in the Medicaid application process.
