Position Summary The candidate chosen will be responsible for administering our subcontractor prequalification program from end to end. The position will work closely with project management teams to prioritize and facilitate enrollment of all subcontractors in the Compass prequalification platform. The goal is to maintain a consistent selection of prequalified subcontractors for use on projects across the United States.

Location This is an on-site, full-time position located in our Austin office.

Supervisory Responsibilities None

Duties and Responsibilities Learn, understan,d and manage the Compass prequalification platform Have a working knowledge of the Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) policy to ensure compliance by subcontractors with its prequalification requirements Coordinate and send prequalification invitations to subcontractors Collect information from project management teams required to enroll subcontractors in SDI program Serve as a liaison between risk management, project management, accounting, and subcontractors to provide guidance and support regarding all prequalification issues Track, follow up and resolve missing data issues with subcontractors including but not limited to financial data, licenses, EMR documents, insurance information, bonding letters and OSHA forms. Analyze prequalification data in Compass Collaborate with CFO for the financial aspects of subcontractor prequalification Follow up with subcontractors for annual updates to prequalification data Assist in establishing internal prequalification policies and procedures Assist in drafting and updating our risk mitigation and corrective action plans Provide training to internal staff as needed Maintain quarterly SDI reports Learn and use internal software, including but not limited to Procore and Sage Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned

Required Education and Experience Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or Construction Management preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered Two to four years of prior administrative experience in the construction industry, with an insurance broker or other related field required Basic computer skills with proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills. Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skill,s including the ability to work well with diverse personalities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.

Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times. Willingness to communicate via various mediums of communication (in-person, via e-mail, phone, etc.). Must be able to work in a variety of work conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noise, smells, weather elements, and other elements associated with commercial construction sites.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. Random drug tests will also be conducted in accordance with our safety policy.
