About the Role

We are seeking a

highly motivated .NET Backend Developer

with strong programming fundamentals and a passion for building scalable, data-driven backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a

Master's degree in Computer Science

and foundational knowledge in

Data Engineering concepts . This is a

fully in-office role

located in Plano, TX.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using

.NET Core / .NET 6+ . Implement

RESTful APIs , integration layers, and data processing workflows. Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Optimize backend performance, ensure system scalability, and maintain data security. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions. Work with

SQL Server ,

Entity Framework , and other ORM tools for data access and management. Integrate backend services with

data pipelines

and support basic

data engineering workflows

(ETL, data transformation, and data integration). Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science

or a closely related field (required). 2+ years of professional experience

in backend software development using

.NET Framework / .NET Core . Proficiency in

C# ,

ASP.NET Core , and

RESTful API development . Strong experience with

SQL Server

and database design principles. Basic understanding or completion of

Data Engineering coursework or certifications

(e.g., ETL, data pipelines, cloud data tools). Solid understanding of

OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles . Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Must have valid work authorization Preferred Skills

Exposure to

Azure Data Factory ,

Azure SQL , or

AWS data tools . Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines ,

Git , and

containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) . Knowledge of

message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

or event-driven systems. Experience in working within

Agile/Scrum

environments. Work Environment
