About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive strategic plan that is centered on diversifying philanthropic income sources. This role involves achieving annual and multi-year financial goals, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining partnerships. The Vice President will work to ensure the organization's financial sustainability and growth by establishing a robust advancement plan, including the cultivation and solicitation of gifts and partnerships from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Collaboration with the President and other team members is essential to expand the donor pipeline and secure funding for new strategic initiatives.
In addition to advancement, the Vice President will oversee the Alumni Relations function, focusing on building a strong alumni pipeline of future advocates, volunteers, and donors. This includes the development of programming and giving opportunities to engage alumni in the mission of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advancement and alumni relations, with the ability to build functions from the ground up and a strong commitment to the values of the organization. A strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of partners are essential for this role.
