The CRO will be responsible for three key areas: credit culture and decisions, design and review of tax credit allocation and investments, and enterprise risk management. This executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's risk management practices are in line with its mission of creating inclusive access to capital and will be tasked with leading a team to manage credit, tax credit, and enterprise risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the finance industry, particularly in a community development or CDFI setting, and must be deeply committed to the values of the organization. Candidates for the CRO position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of experience in the finance industry, with a preference for those who have worked in a CDFI or community development financial institution. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree in financial management being preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of executive leadership, creating new credit programs, and managing risk in a regulated financial environment. Strong analytical, credit, and risk management skills are essential, as is the ability to balance risk with the organization's impact goals.
