About the Role The Company is seeking a Team Lead for Model Validation at the Executive Director level. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent validation and review of credit risk and stress testing models, playing a key role in the implementation of the Model Risk Management framework. This position requires a deep understanding of statistical models, the ability to identify issues and limitations, and to provide recommendations for enhancing existing models. The Team Lead will also be involved in developing model validation methodology, maintaining documentation, and communicating findings to management and stakeholders.

Applicants for this role at The Company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience and possess a strong skill set in model validation, model development, and working with large and complex data sets. Critical job knowledge includes the application of regulatory requirements such as CECL, IFRS9, SR11-7, and others, to model validation and governance. The role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills in Python, R, SAS, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, both written and verbal, and have the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
