About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its Healthcare Markets Initiative, which is dedicated to advancing market-based solutions to health policy challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and overseeing the development, implementation, and growth of the research program within the initiative. This includes identifying program direction, executing strategy, and leading a multidisciplinary research team in the conduct of evidence-based, policy-relevant research. The Executive Director will also be involved in program operations, strategic planning, and policy establishment, and will have a key role in fundraising and development.
Applicants must have a Master's degree in economics, public/health policy, health services research, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. A PhD in a related field is preferred. The role requires proven leadership and management experience, the ability to analyze and evaluate data, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Executive Director will work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including economists, physicians, and data scientists, and must be adept at staff development and networking. Responsibilities also include budget development and control, and the ability to interpret and apply policies and trends in the healthcare market.
