About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, National Distribution Leader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving distribution profitability goals for assigned national brokers, ensuring alignment between business units' target appetites and the brokers' books of business. This role involves developing and executing initiatives to position the company as a market leader and driving distribution strategy to enhance market share and brand visibility. The VP will also act as a primary relationship manager for key producer relationships, build strategically aligned distribution channels, and work closely with marketing to promote product communication.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent preferred, and a minimum of 12 years' related experience, including at least 8 years in leadership roles within the insurance industry. The role requires expert communication skills, extensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance distribution, and strong producer relationships. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use data and analytics to resolve business issues, superior leadership and management skills, and the capacity to drive results and manage multiple projects. A senior-level knowledge of the insurance industry, its products, and services is essential, as is experience with independent broker networks.
