Purpose of Position
Package handlers are front line employees who sort and ensure packages are routed correctly, load and unload trucks, and maintain a safe and organized work area. This role requires working at a fast pace while prioritizing safety and quality.
Essential Job Functions
- Scan and/or sort packages.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Work Environment: stable, frequently wet or humid; exposure to fumes, airborne particles, heat, vibrations; loud noise; moderate hazard risk.
- Standing for prolonged periods.
- Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions.
Lifting: 0-25 lbs. 65-100%; 26-50 lbs. 65-100%; 51+ lbs. 65-100%.
Must be at least 18 years of age and able to lift 75 lbs.

Ability to perform essential duties, follow instructions, accept supervision, maintain a positive attitude, and cooperate with co‑workers and supervisors. Reasonable accommodations will be provided.
