Overview We are working with a dynamic boutique law firm seeking a Private Investment Fund/Investment Management Associate for their Stamford, CT office.
Responsibilities
Advise fund sponsors on drafting and negotiating core fund documents (placement memoranda, partnership agreements, subscription agreements and side letters).
Review fund and co-invest documentation for institutional investors (experience is a plus).
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in private investment fund formation and related matters.
Knowledge of fund terms and issues affecting private investment fund sponsors and investors, and relevant securities rules and regulations.
Experience reviewing fund and co-invest documentation for institutional investors is a plus.
Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience.
CT Bar admission required; NY Bar admission is a plus.
