Position Overview: We are seeking an accomplished Senior Director with a proven track record in M&A and the Office of the CFO. The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong background in transaction accounting, accounting advisory, specializing in preparing companies for exits, carve-outs, audit readiness, and IPO readiness, predominantly serving private equity. This role will work directly with the client and lead teams executing high-level, quality client service. Responsibilities & Duties: Lead and execute carve-out transactions for financial services firms, ensuring smooth separations and operational continuity. Experience operating as Interim CFO for a variety of organizations. Provide technical accounting advisory, guiding clients through complex financial reporting, SEC compliance, and GAAP/IFRS requirements. Oversee IPO readiness, ensuring financial statements, internal controls, and regulatory filings meet market and investor expectations. Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to maximize deal value. Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting M&A activity in financial services. Qualifications & Requirements: 12+ years of experience in M&A, audit, accounting advisory, or transaction services. Strong background in financial services, with a focus on carve-outs, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance. Proven track record of leading complex M&A transactions, particularly in carve-out scenarios. Deep understanding of IPO readiness, bankruptcy, and financial restructuring. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
