LHH is partnering with a publicly traded aviation technology company that’s redefining the future of air mobility. They’re looking for an Assistant Controller (CPA) to help scale their controllership function and lead key areas of operational accounting as the company grows. Compensation

Compensation:

$220K–$250K + 25% bonus (paid in fully-vested RSUs) + initial equity grant Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operational accounting — including payroll, stock administration, accounts payable, and revenue — reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer. Strengthen internal controls, support audit readiness, and build scalable processes to support expansion and product launch readiness. Drive SOX compliance, internal controls, and quarterly/annual reporting requirements. Collaborate with HR, Legal, and FP&A on cross-functional initiatives. Manage international subsidiary accounting and global expansion projects. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities. Lead and mentor an accounting team of 10–15. Qualifications

CPA (required) and Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting or Finance 12+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + industry mix ideal) Strong hands-on background across stock administration, payroll, and operational accounting Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar ERP systems Proven leadership skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment About the opportunity
