Our PV practice serves hedge funds, private equity funds, direct lending funds, business development companies, and other asset managers, advising on valuations of illiquid debt, equity, and complex securities to meet investor and regulatory financial reporting requirements. Houlihan Lokey’s PV practice is well-recognized in the asset valuation community. In 2022 and 2023, the practice received multiple awards recognizing valuation excellence in hedge fund services and related areas. Financial Analysts within our PV practice are fully integrated members of engagement teams, gaining broad exposure to a range of valuation challenges and client interactions. Responsibilities

Support FVA portfolio valuation teams, providing valuations of illiquid debt and equity securities held by hedge funds, private equity funds, and business development companies for fair value reporting to investors. Perform financial statement analysis and other quantitative and qualitative assessments. Review client investment memoranda, board presentations, debt and equity agreements, and financial models to understand the company or securities analyzed. Compile statistical summaries of financial information, develop financial ratios, and present analyses in organized formats. Review and compile published financial information from public filings, press releases, research reports, and Bloomberg data across industries. Identify relevant comparable public companies and M&A transactions using sources such as S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg, applying appropriate SIC codes and methods. Construct and review valuation analyses, including guideline public companies, guideline precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow analyses using Houlihan Lokey models. Research general economic conditions, industry trends, and investment attributes of securities; analyze acquisitions and divestitures within specific industries. Participate in due diligence meetings, communicate with clients, and respond to auditor questions regarding valuation analyses. Design and draft client deliverables and assist in preparing fee proposals and pitch materials. Perform other ad-hoc research, analytics, and support for FVA project teams; coordinate with administrative support for engagement invoices and close-out procedures. Participate in discussions with in-house and outside legal counsel as required; assist with marketing initiatives for clients. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or similar majors with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026. Must be able to start July 2026. Strong analytical abilities. Excellent understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations. Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications. Strong knowledge of Excel modeling, including integrated cash flow modeling. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members. Exceptional work ethic. Compensation And Benefits

Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing employees with an exciting career opportunity and a competitive total compensation package, which may include discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is: $70,000.00-$120,000.00.
