Legal Billing Specialist We are seeking a skilled
Legal Billing Specialist
to support a firm’s billing operations. This role involves preparing and reviewing client invoices, managing accounts receivable, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining billing systems. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and send high-volume monthly client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handle complex billing scenarios including discounts, split-party billing, and alternative fee arrangements Manage invoices and accounts in third-party e-billing platforms, coordinating with attorneys on short pays, rejections, appeals, budgets, accruals, and status updates Monitor e-bill processing to ensure successful submission, approval, and payment Maintain and update billing rates and arrangements; recommend new formats or templates as needed Respond to billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly Create billing schedules and perform billing-related analysis Adhere to firm billing policies, including write-off procedures Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients Maintain strict confidentiality of billing and client information Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed Qualifications: 5 years of billing experience Experience with 3E and eBilling Hub preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with strong follow-through and minimal supervision Flexible to work overtime when needed to meet client demands Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with employer match Paid holidays Paid sick leave Life and disability insurance Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: • The California Fair Chance Act • Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance • Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers • San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Seniority level
