Pay Rate:

$45 - $50/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead fastener and joint testing projects for multiple products, ensuring high‑quality performance and reliability.

Plan and execute testing programs to meet demanding timelines and engineering goals.

Collaborate across engineering teams to understand testing needs and recommend the best solutions.

Develop, validate, and implement new test methods (ISO, SAE, VDI, etc.), from equipment sourcing to staff training.

Document findings, manage corrective actions, and drive improvements to completion.

Communicate effectively with global teams to maintain consistency in testing standards.

Oversee outsourced testing when necessary to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Materials Engineering (or related field).

2+ years of experience in a mechanical or fastener test engineering environment.

Strong understanding of bolted joint design, fastener production quality, and material mechanics.

Experience with mechanical testing methods - including tension, torque, fatigue, or shear testing.

Hands‑on familiarity with torque/angle devices, ultrasonic clamp load measurement, and universal test systems.

Analytical mindset with the ability to innovate, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a cross‑functional team.
