Overview
Associate Scientist, Analytical Sciences at Bristol Myers Squibb. The Cell Therapy Analytical Development group is seeking a motivated individual to perform routine functional characterization of CAR-T and gene edited cells used in cell therapy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flow cytometry and cell biology as well as an enthusiastic attitude and desire to work collaboratively. Key Responsibilities
Routine analysis of cell product for quality attributes using flow cytometry and cell-based assays. Design, plan, execute, and analyze lab experiments. Manage inventory of samples and materials and ensure proper handling and storage. Maintain proper documentation of experimental results using an electronic lab notebook. Summarize and present scientific data; report results to project teams. Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with policies/procedures/regulations. Qualifications & Experience
0-2 (MS) or 3+ years hands on experience with cellular analytical techniques Experience with experimental design and assay development Excellent aseptic technique and experience with mammalian and/or primary cell culture Experience with flow cytometry instrumentation, maintenance, and software (FlowJo) Uses scientific principles and engineering fundamentals to solve problems Independently motivated with ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and coordinate activities within a team Desire and drive to learn and passion for their impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through oral presentation and technical writing Compensation & Benefits
Seattle, WA: $88,430 - $107,151 plus eligible incentive cash and stock opportunities. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Benefits details are available on the careers site and may vary by location.
