Vice President, Financial Crimes Risk Oversight role focused on assessing and managing financial crime risk across onboarding, account activity, and ongoing monitoring.works with senior leaders to implement risk and compliance policies and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive consistency and improvements. Responsibilities
Makes informed decisions on client onboarding, account activity, and complex financial crime risk matters. Partners with senior leaders to support the implementation of clear risk and compliance policies. Collaborates with cross-functional compliance teams to align processes, share best practices, and drive consistency. Leads, mentors, and develops team members while fostering a positive, high-performing work environment. Oversees and contributes to complex projects focused on improving systems, workflows, and risk detection tools. Supports the creation and maintenance of internal procedures, training programs, and compliance documentation. Assesses emerging risks and helps ensure appropriate controls are in place for effective monitoring and reporting. Prepares reporting and insights for senior management and contributes to regulatory and board-facing materials. Supports enterprise risk assessments and strategic compliance initiatives. Keeps leadership informed of significant risk issues in a timely and effective manner. Seniority level
