Security Professional Armed Patrol Specialist - Government

Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any incidents as they arise. This is an armed post, where your professionalism and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service will be essential. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols when necessary. Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches. Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report all observations according to Allied Universal and client policies. Control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals as required for an armed post. Document all incidents, observations, and actions in detailed written reports. Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the government site. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of experience in an armed security-related, law enforcement, or military role. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
