JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Programming & Scheduling Coordinator. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive experience in the evolving world of online production and FAST (Free Ad‑Supported Streaming Television). As a vital member of the Programming team, you will assist with the development of programming strategies and the scheduling of content across Tennis Channel's linear networks. You'll play a key role in supporting our growing global footprint by helping to curate, coordinate, and deliver a world‑class viewing experience for tennis fans across multiple platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for the ingest, setup, and scheduling of programming and live event streams for our OTT products, ensuring that all video, artwork, metadata, captions, and other ancillary materials are processed accurately and delivered on time. The base hourly compensation range for this role is $24.00 to $28.84 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full‑time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the uploading, scheduling, and organization of digital assets and live events on our content management systems.
Build and maintain short and long‑term program schedules for Tennis Channel's linear networks.
Track and update program schedules in coordination with live tennis tournaments and studio shows.
Monitor live programming schedules and make real‑time adjustments.
Support the development and rollout of seasonal programming strategies and special events.
Manage Tennis Channel's scheduling software which includes the inputting for scheduling plans, metadata, and program identification information.
Create and distribute internal reports and schedule grids for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Maintain programming databases and documentation for all content, including episode lists and program descriptions.
Assist in drafting and maintaining broadcast reports to ensure accurate documentation of scheduled content and airtimes.
Manage quality control of EPG (Electronic Program Guide) data across platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy for viewers.
Serve as the point person for all questions pertaining to editorial and programming schedules.
Communicate program changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all contractual restrictions and obligations as they pertain to the distribution rights.
Work evenings, weekends and holidays based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
2-3 years of television scheduling experience
In-depth understanding of the sport of tennis, its history, and players is a must
Experience working with content management systems or similar digital content platforms
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Prior use of TV scheduling and traffic software is a plus
Knowledge of digital video, editing, and encoding formats is a plus
Experience using software like Asana, project management platforms, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Docs, and Excel
