About The Team The SMB Sales team has been the face of DoorDash to our merchant partners since our founding in 2013. Stationed locally, this team creates deep partnerships with local and regional merchants in any given geography. The Commerce Platform team is on a mission to redefine and reshape the hospitality industry for restaurant operators both on and off the DoorDash delivery marketplace, opening the door for hospitality operators to a new frontier of streamlined operations, customer insights and relationship management across all channels – from walk-in to at home delivery.

About The Role As a Senior Account Executive - In Store, SevenRooms, you will work directly with restaurants and hospitality groups, both on and off DoorDash’s delivery marketplace, to support the launch of our new In Store business and to bring the best local and regional merchants onto DoorDash's In Store platform. The Senior Account Executive (Sr. AE) will develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants and work cross-functionally to identify gaps in their current in-store operations and marketing technology, perform in-depth discovery, and craft recommendations using the appropriate DoorDash Platform solutions, including reservation, waitlist and table management, customer data platform, marketing automation, and more. This role helps empower hospitality operators to excel and deliver magical experiences for both in-store and off-premise guests. You will add new restaurants to our In Store and Commerce Platform product suite and collaborate with a cross-functional DoorDash team to guarantee a smooth onboarding experience and realization of product value. DoorDash Sr. AEs act as trusted advisors and expert relationship-builders, approaching conversations with potential partners in a consultative manner to identify business challenges and present the best solution.

You will report to the Sales Manager for In Store as part of our Commerce Platform organization. The role is flexible with some in-office time (1-2 days/week), mostly in the field (up to 40%), and some time working from home.

Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end sales process from discovery to contract negotiation, identifying customer needs and applying independent judgment to value selling and complex pipeline management Engage both new and existing marketplace restaurants on the potential to drive in-store revenue through customer engagement Serve as a trusted advisor to hospitality executives (including C-suite, VPs, chefs and business owners) by providing insights, benchmarking, and tailored guidance Present the full DoorDash product suite and facilitate upgrades, upsells, and cross-sells Utilize internal data to customize narratives showing forecasted revenue growth and streamlined operations through tailored monthly packages Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to engage target customers and negotiate terms Travel across your region (up to 40%), with flexible hours and options to work from home

We're Excited About You Because… You have 3+ years of sales experience, primarily in SaaS technology or related field You have 1+ years of SMB and/or B2B sales experience You have outside sales experience leading an end-to-end sales cycle You operate autonomously in prospecting, prioritizing opportunities, setting engagement strategy, and supporting commercial negotiations You build and maintain relationships and drive complex negotiations with curiosity about people You have strong verbal and written communication skills and are well organized You are proficient with Excel, Sheets and Salesforce and related data skills to create sales presentations You have experience in the restaurant, hotel or related full-service hospitality industry

Compensation Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and location. Base salary is localized by work location. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commissions. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

Paid Time Off Details For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. For hourly roles: vacation accrues and paid sick time accrues as described in the original posting.

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: $80,520—$118,440 USD

The total on-target earnings (base + commissions) for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado: $134,200—$197,400 USD
