Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The Production Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components. This role requires meeting daily production goals, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the lean work cells. Working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and Saturdays.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components or machines.
Maintain quality standards and production goals, while communicating any workload backlog.
Effectively multitask and adapt to directional shifts in production schedules.
Communicate efficiently with supervisors and report the status of the work area.
Ensure standardized work processes are followed, countermeasures are implemented, and the area complies with all safety requirements.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
Assembly skills and mechanical inclination.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency in using basic hand tools and performing general labor tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic mechanical and electro-mechanical principles and procedures.
Ability to follow mechanical drawings and written work documentation.
Previous experience in a lean production environment is desired but not required.
Capability to lift and move components and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
