Schwab’s Wealth Management Products & Platforms team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing new digital user experiences and data integrations to support our digital advice platforms. The Product Manager will coordinate with cross-functional business partners including Agile Scrum teams and will oversee the implementation of a product roadmap that will enhance Schwab’s advised and managed investing offerings.
Members of the team who are highly successful demonstrate the ability to manage the product lifecycle, think creatively, develop recommendations that are data driven/fact-based, deliver results in a matrixed organization and have the flexibility and maturity to handle various situations. This role is for individuals with a bias for action and who are detail oriented.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement Schwab’s scalable and automated Portfolio Transition Capability in partnership with Schwab Asset Management, Technology, Offer and Legal & Compliance
Collaborating with other Product Managers in Digital Wealth Platforms and technology leads and architects
Build a product roadmap to articulate and drive the priorities
Create a release plan in coordination with the scrum team and other lines of business
Manage development efforts and technology scrum teams: writing user stories, refining the backlog, and working with other teams
Define test plans and acceptance criteria and oversee end to end testing
Provide timely and proactive production support to users
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of product management / product development within financial services
Experience implementing digital experiences using Agile development practices leading multiple teams as Product Manager
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Wealth Management is preferred
Self-starter with strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills
A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities
High level of comfort with technology
Knowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems is a plus
Bachelor and post graduate degrees are a plus
