The Family Medicine Physician will care for the physical, mental and emotional well-being of patients and their families. They are trained to care for all ages, from children age 5 to senior adults. Family practitioners diagnose and treat the full range of problems and coordinate care with specialty physicians and other members of a patient"s care team. A family doctor is often part of a multispecialty team and may provide referrals as appropriate. Responsibilities
See patients in an outpatient setting Monday-Friday from 8a-5p, including new patients and corporate physicals Participate in the Family Medicine Call group; on-call about once per month (weekday or weekend), with weekend on-call shared with another physician Perform annual physicals and wellness exams Emphasize preventive medicine Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD, DO) Accredited Family Medicine residency training Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas Board Certified or Board Eligible Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Salary range is defined as total cash compensation at target. Actual range and pay mix of base and bonus are variable based on experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group provides a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contributions (eligibility requirements apply).
