The Emory Clinic is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a dynamic team of clinicians, educators, and researchers dedicated to delivering high-quality care in an innovative environment. The role focuses on developing new treatments and training the next generation of psychiatrists. The attending physician will join the Geriatric Psychiatry Division with responsibilities spanning clinical care, teaching, and opportunities for research. Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric care to new and established patients in the Geriatric Psychiatry Division. Teach fellows, residents, and medical students; participate in case conferences and administrative and educational meetings. Engage in research activities when available, including clinical studies, quality improvement projects, and development of evidence-based practices and specialized treatments. Attend inpatient on-call responsibilities as part of the faculty call schedule. Contribute to time allocation: approximately 80% clinical care and 20% administration and teaching or research; research funding may adjust time allocation. Minimum qualifications

MD or DO degree. Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship. Hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia and be board certified or board eligible. Work arrangement
