Overview We are hiring a Medical Director to join our growing physician-led geriatrics practice. Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in senior living and health care, seeks a passionate, patient-focused physician to provide clinical and operational leadership for Erickson Health Medical Group (EHMG), our physician-led network of on-site medical providers. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in geriatric care and a desire to lead high-performance teams to superior outcomes. Compensation:

$270,000 - $350,000 per year (includes base + bonus + incentive).

Responsibilities

Provides direct supervision for EHMG clinical staff in the medical center, including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Podiatrists, Social Workers, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs).

Leads EHMG clinical programs to achieve operational excellence and compliance, with administrative leadership for the medical group (e.g., medical staff recruitment, clinical staff training, management of Medical Center in partnership with the practice administrator and MSO).

Collaborates with Community leadership to provide clinical guidance for Community Health Services, including medical direction for Community Health.

Participates as an active member of the EHMG Medical Director Team to establish EHMG policies, evaluate Medicare program implementations, and provide input for EHMG direction.

Clinical and Other Duties

Conducts patient assessments, examinations, and treatment in a variety of settings.

Orders diagnostics, consultations, and imaging to inform patient care.

Analyzes test results and makes diagnoses; attends patients in medical office, nursing home, assisted living, and memory care settings.

Administers or prescribes treatments and coordinates care with outside providers and facilities.

Promotes practice growth and participates in quality assurance, peer review, and administrative activities.

Participates in night and weekend call rotation for providers.

Documents services for medical charts and billing.

Works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.

What You Will Need

Medical License and any state or federally mandated certification to be a medical director of a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
