USBU Ethics & Compliance Business Partner, Plasma Derived Therapies. Join Takeda as US Business Unit (USBU), Ethics & Compliance Business Partner, Plasma Derived Therapies (PDT) at the director level, where you will foster ethical behaviors and Takeda Values that support risk mitigation. The USBU E&C team seeks a forward-thinking leader in risk identification and mitigation who responds rapidly to changing environments and business needs. You will work in an agile environment to support governance, processes and systems while delivering innovative solutions that appropriately manage risks. You will report to the Head of Ethics & Compliance, Rare Disease, Plasma Derived Therapies & Patient Access and Market Access, and partner with the USBU PDT Business Unit and related functions to embed ethics and compliance in Takeda’s day-to-day work. How You Will Contribute

Respond rapidly to changing environment and business needs, stay close to the market, and encourage ethical behavior in line with Takeda's Values. Act as a role model for Takeda's Values, ethics and values-based decision making, fostering this mindset in clients, partners and team members. Enable the organization to make ethical decisions aligned with our priorities of Patient, Trust, Reputation, and Business. Collaborate across all E&C teams and with stakeholders in Business Units / Business Functions to embed ethics and compliance as part of the way everyone works at Takeda. Lead implementation of the E&C strategy for the USBU’s PDT BU by influencing senior management and other stakeholders to adhere to existing E&C principles and adopt new best practices. Maintain and strengthen business expertise and nurture cross-functional relationships to enable a proactive, holistic approach to risk identification. Work with senior management and cross-functional partners to align on and implement E&C controls to proactively manage identified risks. Seek opportunities to simplify and automate tasks and processes through technology and digital tools, including AI and agentic AI; serve as a role model for digital dexterity. Develop programs that enable senior management, home office and field personnel to integrate E&C principles and Takeda’s Values into day-to-day activities and leadership of others. Provide E&C guidance related to organizational design, brand planning, needs assessments, and Incentive Compensation structures. Avoid unintended impacts by anticipating cross-organizational effects of guidance and communicating with relevant stakeholders to manage this impact. Demonstrate leadership within USBU E&C, including mentoring and staff education on relevant topics. Provide guidance to senior management and personnel on interpretation of the Code of Conduct, Compliance Policies, SOPs, and other E&C program requirements. Deliver high-impact presentations to promote awareness and adherence to E&C principles and Takeda’s Values (e.g., sales training). Collaborate with E&C Operations and Digital E&C to support initiatives and digital/technology-driven efforts. Assist in developing materials for USBU Risk, Ethics and Compliance Committee (RECC) meetings, including external benchmarking, internal compliance metrics, dashboards, and the compliance program vision; present at RECC meetings as required. Periodically review and adjust policies and procedures to align with Takeda Legal feedback and E&C inputs. Identify and analyze external trends and integrate them into the organization as needed. Conduct periodic reviews of USBU E&C Policies and Procedures to ensure alignment with Takeda’s Values, OIG guidance, PhRMA Code requirements, and other applicable laws and policies. Externally facing – drive USBU Business Partner engagement with evolving E&C trends (PhRMA, OIG, DOJ). Negotiate to create solutions aligned with leadership and business needs. Partner with the business and third-party vendors to monitor USBU activities (e.g., field rides, speaker programs, advisory boards). Research and respond to compliance hotline/helpline questions as needed. Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of Ethics & Compliance experience; preferably 5 years in pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare industries. Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctorate or relevant advanced degree preferred. Strong understanding of state and federal health care laws/regulations. Experience with OIG, PhRMA guidelines, healthcare SOPs, anti-bribery laws, and state price reporting statutes. Respected expert and advisor to senior BU management who influences the Ethics & Compliance agenda. Strong ability to translate ideas into presentations and written materials; effective communication skills. Proven track record of delivering results and managing multiple projects and priorities. Ability to lead cross-functional work, drive change, and exercise executive presence with stakeholders. Strong customer service focus and ability to engage at all management levels. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and regulatory information and legal advice. Willing to travel occasionally as needed. Preferred AI Capabilities & Experiences

Effective data analysis and insights generation to support decision-making. Experience with AI tools and collaboration platforms to integrate technology into daily operations, including automating routine tasks and improving productivity. Boston, MA Salary and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range is $174,500.00 - $274,230.00. The actual base salary depends on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors.
