Overview
The Department of Emergency Medicine in the Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS) and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCAMED) is seeking applications for outstanding Emergency Physicians to join our group. The Department has over 75 faculty and fellows and over 35 APPs who practice across three emergency departments. The BMC EM residency program is a 4-year training program with 56 Emergency Medicine residents who rotate at all three clinical sites. We are looking for talented individuals to join our department in the following areas to support our Mission: Clinical and Clinical Nocturnist; Clinician Educator; Academic Areas of Focus – Early- and mid-Career faculty interested in Health equity/Public Health, EMS, Ultrasound, Clinical Innovation, and Implementation Science/Health Services Research. (Boston, MA) is the largest and busiest provider of trauma and emergency services in New England; the ED serves more than 130,000 patients annually. It is a not-for-profit, 514-bed, academic medical center and Level-1 trauma center with a broad range of services. It has been recognized among the nation’s top 50 for multiple specialties by U.S. News & World Report. BMC South
(Brockton, MA) is a designated Level III trauma center with 267 acute care beds, serving more than 60,000 ED visits annually across 22 communities. It is recognized for excellence in diabetes and heart attack care by U.S. News & World Report and Healthgrades with a 2025 Patient Safety Excellence Award. BMC Brighton
(Brighton, MA) is a community tertiary-care academic hospital with 208 acute care beds, including 38 ICU beds, serving more than 25,000 ED visits annually. Completion of an ACGME-approved Emergency Medicine residency; ABEM/AOBEM certified or eligible; meet requirements for and obtain Massachusetts Medical Licensure and clinical privileges in Emergency Medicine at BMCHS. Required: Cover Letter/Letter of Interest and a Curriculum Vitae. Optional: Diversity Contribution Statement.
