IT Technical Lead
in Torrance, CA. This position is onsite/hybrid. Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Travel: 5%. OT: no. Salary range and benefits offered: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401 K. Overview
The Consumer Applications Department is seeking a highly-motivated, experienced Technical Lead to help deliver projects more effectively. They will work alongside Product Owners and Project teams, leading Agile practices related to customer-facing digital products. This position requires extensive collaboration and cross-functional communication with IT, client associates, consultants, and vendors to define product goals, backlogs and roadmaps leading to successful delivery. This position is a working lead that provides functional and technical guidance and may supervise the daily activities of individual contributors or working teams. Responsibilities
Coordinate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines Oversee the design, testing, and deployment processes Intervene when development is behind schedule; coordinate and organize development work Keep the backlog clean, scoped, and prioritized Help define sprint goals and ensure tasks are realistically sized Translate stakeholder requests into clear action items Own QA and delivery hygiene — QA features before launch and coordinate testing Log bugs, verify fixes, and handle regressions quickly Keep track of what’s released, what’s blocked, and what’s broken Execute lightweight technical work Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Minimum of 8 years of experience managing highly complex technical projects involving large teams Agile Scrum Master Certification preferred 2 years of Agile Scrum Master experience preferred Industry knowledge to support design and/or vendor product selection to solve corporate-wide issues or enhancements Knowledge of project management tools and techniques Superior verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation skills Ability to articulate complex problems and solutions clearly Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize information Understanding of SaaS/PaaS components and deployment Excellent project management skills, including planning, tracking, and reporting Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills with risk mitigation Experience maintaining strategic alliances with technology partners Ability to lead and motivate technical teams to achieve project goals Employment details
