Overview

Software Test Engineering Manager at The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on supporting the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) division within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS). The selected candidate will manage a team of software test engineers responsible for on-aircraft software and ground software used on or with the B-52H Bomber, including testing for production software as well as research and development and internal applications development related to the platform. Position Responsibilities

Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Testing Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees Basic Qualifications (Required)

5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or test engineering 1+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering or testing Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science Experience in a leadership role that motivates excellence and innovation Experience in solving complex issues Experience with mentoring, coaching, and growing software engineering teams Experience working in embedded software engineering aerospace environments Additional Information
