We are part of the Fintech organization that powers Intuit's money movement platform, enabling prosperity for customers across QuickBooks, Mailchimp and TurboTax. The Risk Product team enables Fintech Risk Management to detect and mitigate fraud, financial and compliance risks. The compliance risk pertains to domains such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Consumer Protection, and Sanctions, among others. Our mission is to minimize the impact of these risks on our valued customers. We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the transformation of how customers experience money products within Fintech compliance and underlying risk management. This role focuses on accelerating speed to benefit, infusing AI into the Fintech compliance and risk lifecycle end-to-end, and empowering the risk operations team to make high-quality decisions when human intervention is needed. In this role, you will build the strategy and roadmap to elevate Fintech compliance controls, scale risk operations with AI and automation, and reduce customer friction, all in service of our business growth. Our customers and partners are cross-functional, globally distributed, and highly technical. This requires strong skills in driving technical partnerships, deep customer empathy, and specialized Fintech compliance knowledge to deliver outcomes. You will work with designers and engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
End-to-end ownership of initiatives to empower compliance policy and operation teams to mitigate Fintech compliance risk exposure by building robust customer and transaction monitoring, case investigation, and other relevant compliance capabilities. Develop deep customer empathy and a detailed understanding of money movement products where Fintech compliance risks may occur and how they can be mitigated effectively. Transform our compliance controls with scalable capabilities to serve a global audience, including KYC/KYB processes, AML transaction monitoring, and adherence to regulatory requirements, stitching data across numerous sources to manage compliance risk and regulatory obligations. Leverage customer insights and regulatory requirements to formulate a platform vision, develop hypotheses and initiatives, create and measure success metrics. Build strong relationships with legal and compliance, product, engineering, risk policy and operations teams to influence and align on compliance solution roadmaps. Establish product delivery timelines in collaboration with development teams; communicate clearly across the business. Prioritize initiatives and drive execution with focus on process and impact, balancing resource investments for maximum ROI. Exercise sound judgment in balancing risks and making trade-off decisions; remain entrepreneurial and hypothesis-driven when necessary. Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience with a significant focus on compliance within financial services or fintech. Proven domain knowledge in compliance regulations and best practices, with experience in AML, Consumer Protection, and Sanctions screening. Exposure to other money movement product compliance areas is a plus. Track record in defining and delivering products that solve customer needs while balancing compliance requirements. Ability to develop and champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with customer needs, company objectives, and regulatory requirements. Experience with Agile development and methodologies. Strong collaboration with stakeholders in a cross-functional environment, with a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities. Undergraduate degree required; focus in computer science, finance, or related field preferred. MBA a plus; equivalent experience will be considered. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California, CA: $180,500 - $244,000.
