We’re looking for a hands-on, analytical, and entrepreneurial Strategic Finance Analyst to help shape the financial future of our growing startup. This is a high-impact, highly visible role where you’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and general accounting processes to help drive Vapi’s next phase of growth. You’ll partner directly with leadership to translate strategy into numbers, optimize spend, and ensure the financial health of the business. You’ll work across FP&A and accounting functions—building financial models from scratch, improving close processes, and supporting leadership with insights that guide real business decisions. Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting Business Partnering & Decision Support Performance Monitoring & Reporting Fundraising & Strategic Initiatives Accounting & Financial Operations Who You Are
3+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, accounting, consulting, or a related role Strong financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets; able to build dynamic models from scratch Solid understanding of GAAP principles and experience supporting month-end accounting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill insights from complex data Clear, concise communicator—especially when translating financial information for non-finance audiences Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment Nice-to-have: experience in a SaaS or tech startup, familiarity with FP&A tools, and exposure to fundraising or board reporting Why Vapi
