About The Team The Business Development (BD) team, with the Air Dominance and Strike Division, is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities and capabilities for the company. BD team members serve as the bridge between clients and the broader Anduril team; they convey client perspectives to other teams across the enterprise while also serving as the Anduril brand ambassador externally. They partner extensively with the broader division team, including engineering and program management, to ensure that Anduril products exceed client expectations and mission demands, and to drive continuous product improvements in response to client needs.
About The Job The Advanced Effects Business Line is looking for a high initiative, collaborative individual to join the team as the Naval Forces Advanced Effects lead for the Air Dominance and Strike Division. This person will have ownership and responsibility for shaping and capturing air launched advanced effects primarily with the US Navy, USMC, and International Partners.
What You’ll Do
Generate and capture Naval Forces Advanced Effects opportunities. Grow revenue by developing a deep understanding of the existing and prospective customer base, roadmaps, and the competitive landscape; inform capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and technology development plans. Manage continuous engagements with current and future clients, generate growth strategies, monitor buying cycles, and lead proposal and capture efforts.
Develop capture strategies. Provide cohesive business plans and execution models that outline acquisition plans, align to investment strategies, and drive program of record execution. Engage key stakeholders to shape requirements, identify funding, and develop win themes and supplier strategies for competitive captures.
Drive product development and program transition. Translate client problem sets into engineering requirements, define milestones, and communicate findings across the company. Assess client needs to inform new product decisions and ensure the product suite remains best-in-class.
Grow existing business. Represent the Advanced Effects business line, partnering with execution teams and product engineers to grow business with current clients and explore new areas of work through existing partnerships.
Communicate our value to clients. Represent Anduril to clients, partners, competitors, and the public, conveying our approach to next-generation defense technology and competitive edges.
Required Qualifications
Prior experience in Defense Capture related to Missile or Weapons Systems.
Prior experience working with US Navy program offices / customers. Deep understanding of US Navy customer community, requirements process, and operational needs.
Experience with missile systems across Naval Aviation domains and various roles and missions.
Ability to interface with a wide range of U.S. Department of Defense and international customers.
Experience with government business development, government contract structures, and government proposal processes.
Comfortable setting and achieving goals in a complex environment.
Prior experience working with technical partners / engineering teams.
Comfortable working in limited resource environments.
Ability to travel 50% – 75% required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the defense industry or U.S. DoD, specifically in missiles or weapons capability.
STEM background.
Currently possesses and can maintain an active U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
Salary and Benefits US Salary Range: $191,000—$253,000 USD
