East Hill Medical Center
East Hill Medical Center is seeking a full-time dentist for our growing organization. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in downtown Auburn, NY. We have a brand new office, state of the art equipment, choice of products and will purchase the tools you need for seeing patients. Job Description
Examines patients to diagnose and treat oral and dental conditions.
Provides routine care of patients including examination of head and neck, administration of medication, periodontal therapy, x-rays and follow up maintenance checks.
Manages emergencies including control of acute hemorrhages, anaphylaxis, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest and seizures.
Diagnoses, treats and manages illnesses and diseases that present in the office.
Performs procedures related to routine care or to symptoms exhibited during office visit including restorations, non-surgical extractions, pulpotomy, dentures, and incision and drainage.
Provides consultation with specialists regarding administration of care to patient as applicable.
Documents care provided in the Electronic Medical Record.
Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives for the dental office including peer review.
Has strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and community partners.
Handles confidentiality appropriately.
Has experience with Dentrix and Medent, preferred.
Is flexible to work between our main dental location and our School Based Dental Locations.
Works Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
