Description
Cadrex is searching for a Procurement Analyst who is responsible for providing analytical and strategic support to the sourcing function, driving cost savings, supplier performance, and process optimization across the manufacturing organization. This role leverages data, market intelligence, and business insights to improve sourcing strategies, monitor supplier performance, and ensure alignment with company objectives. The Procurement Analyst works cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to enhance procurement efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze purchasing data, market trends, and supplier performance to identify cost reduction and value improvement opportunities
Develop and maintain procurement and logistics dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Support sourcing strategies for indirect and direct materials, logistics, and services
Collaborate with Commodity Managers and Buyers to analyze spending, evaluate supplier bids, and recommend optimal sourcing decisions
Conduct cost modeling, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and “should‑cost” estimations across materials and freight categories
Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and spend tracking
Evaluate supplier and 3PL performance against contractual and operational metrics; identify and address underperformance
Support supplier negotiations through data‑driven insights and cost analysis
Maintain and enhance procurement systems and databases (e.g., ERP, spend analytics, e‑sourcing tools)
Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency and compliance
Prepare business reviews and performance summaries for leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
Support procurement governance, compliance, and risk management activities
Requirements Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or sourcing in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, or other data analysis tools
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and e‑sourcing tools
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders
Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or APICS CSCP preferred
Education Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Location Remote with preference for candidates based in the Denver area
Salary Description 70,000.00 - 80,000.00 Yearly plus bonus
