Overview
In this role, you will serve as an integral member of the Operations Team. You will support the Operations Management team and Senior Vice President by managing, developing, and improving activities associated with overall operational performance in Transdev Alternative Services. This includes KPIs, SLAs, strategic account management, and startups/shutdowns of locations. This role is responsible for improving operational performance, optimization, and operating procedure updates. Lead transformation initiatives of the AV organization, utilizing performance improvement concepts and development tools, providing inception-to-measurement of structure, education, and processes. This role responsibilities include understanding ideal process flows, identifying, recommending, and leading problem-solving initiatives to improve, strengthen, and sustain the operations division.

Key Responsibilities
Regional management of operational sites, including international areas and multiple geographies/locations
Direct leadership and management to develop a culture that values safety, inclusion, and ongoing employee interaction
Curate and present daily, weekly, and monthly business reports to client leaders and executives
Lead programs for the Operations division of Transdev’s North America
Develop and deploy essential process improvement techniques and tools; manage performance improvement processes
Develop and deploy metrics aligned with KPIs to demonstrate business value and measure productivity gains
Diagnose problems and design streamlined processes to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
Mentor peers and influence operational teams with a bottom-up approach to decision-making
Participate in client and prospective client meetings to differentiate Transdev
Collaborate with Human Resources as the Subject Matter Expert on training and incentive programs for lean initiatives

Required Education and Experience
Must be 21 years old
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred
5+ years of relevant management and leadership experience required
Experience in tech, start-up, and/or AV industry strongly preferred
Strong background in transportation and/or logistics highly preferred
Working knowledge of basic federal and state employment laws
Basic working knowledge of laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to motor vehicle operations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to describe their thoughts concisely
Ability to respond quickly to multiple scenarios
Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, employees, and support departments
Flexibility and agility for changing business needs and projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or GSuite; ability to manage and manipulate data in spreadsheets
Ability to resolve complex operational problems
Strong logical and analytical skills
Adaptability to rapidly changing environments with ambiguous direction
Self-motivation and good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Ability to forecast, set productivity plans, and collaborate with leaders to balance workload
On-call and responsive for 24/7 operations
Physical Requirements
Constant use of hands, fingers, and speaking/hearing; frequent standing, walking, and sitting
Close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Exposure to inclement weather, high-risk operating environments, highways, and dense urban areas
Most work is indoors; long periods of sitting and computer use
Travel up to 50% of the time
Occasional standing, walking, and manual tasks as required
