Our team is looking for a creative, self-motivated, software architect who is familiar with ground based mission management software systems and has a passion for pushing the bounds of what current and future technology can accomplish. This role will focus on shaping the vision for future development based on our customer's mission needs. It will require a willingness to learn and understand our customers current architecture and work closely with our customers and mission partners to evolve the design within financial and schedule guardrails. The ideal candidate should have a strong software engineering, test and architecture background as well as a deep understanding of ground based mission management software design.
Core responsibilities
Coordination with stakeholders and external segments within the enterprise.
Demonstrated leadership working with both software and systems engineering teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in an Engineering or STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
Ability to work with limited supervision while leading teams to include collaborating across the IC environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of Software and Systems Architecture and Systems Integration and Test best practices.
An active TS/SCI Clearance is required for consideration with the ability to obtain a poly.
Desired Skills
Experience identifying, defining, developing, assessing, and demonstrating integrated mission solution architectures spanning Satellite Ground Systems and missions.
Experience utilizing Splunk to analyze log data and test results.
Automated Software Testing Experience.
Experience from a test and requirements verification environment; experience in Ground Systems or GeoInt Mission Operations including development of automated tests, test planning and procedure development, test execution, analysis, and anomaly resolution.
Previous experience with IC GeoInt missions and segments.
Experience performing in an Architect role on a large and complex IC integrated mission development efforts.
Demonstrated experience communicating compelling written, verbal, and visual narratives that convey mission and business value to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Security and Qualifications
Selected candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance for consideration.
This is a MID CAREER (level 4) role where candidates typically require 5 years of professional experience and a BS degree.
