The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role
The IT FinSight Delivery department supports the development & testing needs of multiple DTCC core business lines. The Principal Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating and coaching, guides a cross-functional team in using the Scrum framework for software development within an Agile environment. They ensure the team follows Scrum principles and practices, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment for delivering high-quality products. The Scrum Master is a leader who empowers the team to be successful within the Scrum framework, focusing on efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Your Primary Responsibilities
The Principal Scrum Master guides assigned teams in the use of the Scrum framework including the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Testers, and Dev teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
The Principal Scrum Master creates and maintains Jira projects and is responsible for tracking and reporting on team commitments as well as resolving (or assisting in resolving) risks, issues, and dependencies.
The Principal Scrum Master is critical in identifying and driving standards and best practices within the squad.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timeline and budget.
Ensure compliance with financial industry regulations, data security standards, and internal process governance.
Coach junior Scrum Masters on best practices and Agile principals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed For Success
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent required
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Experience working in software application development, digital transformation and cloud migration projects.
Experience with tools such as Jira, HP PPM, MS Office tools.
Familiarity with financial systems and risk management practices.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
