Please note we are not accepting any third-party applicants for this role. 12+ months SENIOR STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER – MACRO FOCUS SUMMARY: A leading pharmaceutical company on the West Coast needs the support of a Senior Statistical Programmer to support infrastructure and macros programming efforts for the team, in addition to supporting study work. The ideal consultant will have a strong background as a Statistical Programmer with specific macro development expertise. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 10+ years Statistical SAS Programming experience in life sciences (CDISC standards, SDTM/ADaM) Must be highly experienced in programming macros; i.e., comfortable using double ampersands in their code Experience producing global macros for statistical programming activities including creating, testing others\' macros, and writing documentation for global macros Experience working with a small company without fully established infrastructure is preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: Create global macros for statistical programming activities, testing macros of other programmers, and contribute to writing the documentation for these global macros. Produce data checks and patient profiles using company macros and create more macros as needed Write specifications for both SDTM and ADaM datasets according to standards Following specifications, develops algorithms and writes programs to create datasets. Produces data listings, summary tables and graphs using SAS software. Independently checks data listings, summary tables and graphs. Seniority level
