Position Description
We have an immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver, and we're seeking the right individual to join our team at Ryder. If you're looking to transition from an Owner Operator to a Company Driver, we’ll assist you in making that switch seamless!

Expect to earn $1796.70 or more each week, with additional incentives:
Driver positions pay weekly
Solo miles pay: $0.68 per mile with an average of 1560 miles weekly
Solo stops pay: $17.94 per stop with an average of 21 stops weekly
Per diem pay: $51.25 per night, with 4 - 5 nights per week
Touch freight pay: $0.17 per piece with an average of 1750 pieces weekly
Sign-on bonus: $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
Tenure bonus: $1000 on your 1-year anniversary
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Our trucks are recent models, three years or newer. Ryder drivers service the route, not the truck. All drivers benefit from 24/7 roadside maintenance provided by a Ryder trained technician, as well as fueling at our 800+ maintenance facilities.
Deliver solo to various locations from Indiana to South Dakota, and north to Kansas and Missouri

Requirements
Minimum age of 21 years
Pass a Ryder drug test
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical examination
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past 3 years,
OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years,
OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow both written and oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Important Note:
